ABOUT THE ROLE

Regent College has an exciting position for a Marketing and Communication Officer to join our Administration Team and College Community. This is a part-time position.

The Marketing and Communications Officer has an integral role in ensuring all College communication and publications are of a high quality and culturally appropriate, including implementing the College corporate design elements to ensure consistency and professionalism. The successful applicant will ideally be highly organised and have an excellent attention to detail. This role requires the candidate to be self-directed and demonstrate high levels of initiative, as well as the ability to work collaboratively, balanced by an understanding of when to seek and take advice.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Casual position is available for a dynamic and passionate Educator for our Out of School Care program running during School terms.

SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful incumbent must:

  • Deliver the daily routines and programs for children ages 4-12 for Before and/or After School Care
  • Supervise and engage with children attending OSHC
  • Record each child’s attendance, illness, accident reports, observations, and any other records as required by the authorities are kept and maintained
  • Show creativity and innovative skills to implement a program that meets the needs of all children
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to manage and prioritise a number of concurrent tasks
  • To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ including regular church attendance and a lifestyle consistent with the expectations of the Christian faith
  • To have knowledge and ability to apply workplace health and safety principles in the workplace including nutritional practices and the hygienic handling of food and equipment
  • To share Salt & Light OSHC commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people and to apply the National Principles for Child Safety in the workplace

ESSENTIAL

  • Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma of Children’s Services or an Early Childhood Education qualifications
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination (including booster / 3rd dose)
  • Knowledge and experience in appropriate food handling practices

DESIRABLE

  • Current First Aid Certificate
