Enrolments

Thank you for your interest in Regent College. We are a co-educational College for students in Kindergarten to Year 6. The enrolment process is outlined below.  Please note that an Expression of Interest or Application for Enrolment does not guarantee a position in the College.

Once a student is enrolled, they have secured a position for future grades. Re-enrolment is not required each year; rather, this is dependent on the student maintaining ‘good standing’ and up-to-date payment of school fees. When completing the application forms, honest responses are essential, particularly when considering any special needs, disabilities and health concerns.

International students are welcome, however a different fee structure is applicable in this case. Regent College has many multi-lingual families and students who speak English as an Additional Language or Dialect (or EAL/D) or Language Background Other Than English (LBOTE).

Below you will find more information on the four stages of our enrolment process. The first step involves completing an Expression of Interest form. Please note that students can only be enrolled in one school at the same time, irrespective of Public or Private system.

Enrolment Process

The Regent College Enrolment Process consists of 4 stages: Enquiry, Application, Interview and Offer.
Before starting the enrolment process, you may find it helpful to refer a School Age Calculator to help determine what year your child can start school in Western Australia.

Enquiry

Welcome you to submit an expression of interest (EOI) through the Regent College website.

You will receive confirmation that we have received your EOI, followed by an indication of position/waitlist availabilities for the year/s you expressed your interest in.

Application

Should a position for your child be available, our Enrolment Officer will invite you to complete an ‘Application Form’, submit the required documentation and pay the $50 application fee.

At this stage in the enrolment process, you will be encouraged to register and attend a College Tour.

All applications will require the following additional documents to be provided:

• Birth Certificate
• Up to date Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Statement

The following documents are also required if applicable:

• Two most recent school reports,
• NAPLAN results,
• Visa and Passport documentation,
• Citizenship Certificate,
• Specialist education/Paediatrician reports; and
• If applicable, copies of Restraining Orders, Parent Responsibility Orders, Contact Orders, Parenting Plans or Court Orders.

Following these steps, the application for enrolment is formally reviewed by the College. There are multiple considerations at this point, including current vacancies and capacity requirements.
Siblings of existing Regent College students will have first priority.
If a position is available, an interview will be arranged.

Interview

Our Enrolments Officer will contact you to find a suitable time for your family to meet with the College Principal. During the interview stage, the Principal will discuss your child’s education journey and any specific learning, care and wellbeing needs.

Offer

Upon a successful application and interview, you will receive a ‘Letter of Offer’ and ‘Contract of Enrolment’. Your child’s enrolment position is confirmed once the Contract of Enrolment has been signed and returned to the College, and the Foundation Fee has been paid.

Our facilities

The play spaces were redesigned in 2020 to reflect contemporary ideas about creativity and play. Plants and trees have been planted throughout the grounds to create beautiful outdoor spaces.

There is an undercover area, oval and recreation deck. There is a new climbing frame which has been kindly provided by the Parent Collective.

The early learning classrooms have dedicated play spaces with a focus on water play. This enables students to engage in imaginative play, with “loose parts” rather than ‘closed’ play structures.

EARLY YEARS PLAY AREA

UNDERCOVER AREA

Play spaces are multi-functional so the undercover play area has a horizontal climbing frame and also is a whole school meeting place for outside assemblies.

The College Hall was built in 2010, funded by the Federal Government as part of the ‘Building the Education Revolution’. Used for assemblies and Outside School Hours Care.

FUN TIMES!
