CHARACTER AND VALUES
Character First
This is a programme used across all year groups to assist children to learn and develop a wide range of character traits. Virtues such as honesty, self-control and responsibility, are highlighted throughout the year so that the children have the opportunity to understand these as essential ingredients to their character. Students learn to then practice these traits with the guidance and leadership from their teachers.
Making Right Choices
For year 7 students, this programme is designed to assist them to make wise choices and to put into practice the skills they have learnt throughout their time in primary school. The programme covers making good choices in relation to their health and relationships, as they look towards their high school years.
Me Myself and I
A programme focussed on the individual and helping each student discover their unique personality and characteristics, why they are important and how can they best manage their own behaviour.
The New You
Used to introduce children to the changes that they will experience through puberty.
Friendly Classroom, Friendly School
A programme used throughout the school, to develop good relationship skills between the students.
